Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation

I purchased the Vichy Dermablend foundation in 15 opal to use as a concealer after seeing Lisa Eldridge use it in her tutorials.  I’d never really used concealer before, instead I would wear a mask of foundation to try and cover my imperfections.  Learning about concealer is very important for anyone who wears makeup.  Applying a thin layer of foundation and using a concealer to conceal any parts of the face that the foundation hasn't covered gives a much nicer finish than plastering on your foundation.

Vichy Dermablend foundation is designed for those of us with not so perfect skin.  Its indications include uneven complexion, dark circles and diffused redness.  It claims it has 12 hour coverage with no mask effect.  Being an acne sufferer and seeing its miraculous concealing abilities Lisa's video tutorials I wanted to try it out.  And I’m glad I bought it, it is fantastic for covering just about everything.  I use it on my dark circles, and they are very dark hereditary ones.  I use it on my acne and uneven skin tone and it covers it really well and stays on all day.  And you do only need the tiniest amount, a little goes a long way.  I apply it with my eco tools concealer brush but my fingers do the trick just as well.  I have never used it as a foundation though so I can’t comment on that.  I do have one slight problem with this product though, it only comes in 5 shades, therefore not everyone is going to find their perfect colour match.

Would I buy it again? Yes.
Where can I buy this product? Boots.
